I delivered a session on Introduction to Google Cloud Platform last November as part of Adroit'20 organized by the NIE IEEE Student Branch. The audience for the session were engineering students. You can find the recording of the same above.
This was an introductory session where we discussed cloud computing, virtualization, containerization, and how applications are deployed on the cloud.
We explored various cloud services offered by GCP including Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Build, and Cloud Run by deploying and testing sample applications on GCP.
I've been a part of NISB from the start of my engineering days, NISB conducts various sessions and workshops for students throughout the year. You can find more details on their Instagram page.
If you are a student or a faculty member, you can apply for Qwiklabs credits or GCP Edu credits.
